I had my first ever order arrive from Soe and Soe in Australia, and the main thing that I ordered was some new varieties of Crena papers that I wanted to try. I previously looked at the Crena Spark paper, and I added three more papers into my collection. We look at the Crena Cream Lightning Thick Retro, Crena Starbow R1, and the Crena Snowfall Sands and put them through my standard set of test pens, pencils and swatching to see how they compare.

I show some side by side with Tomoe River and Graphilo papers, as these are similar Japanese paper equivalents to some of these Chinese made Crena options.

We will continue to work on the multi paper swatch book with the all of the Lamy and Pelikan inks that are in my collection. We will also take a look at the initial packing lists for the DC pen show and talk about how that will be going. I will also have my stickers to show on stream that I will have with me in DC.

In this video, I am unboxing a 1 of prototype material version of the Onoto Magna Classic Ceramic fountain pen in Burnt Orange. I own another Onoto that I got years ago, so I figured getting another one in a one of material would be a perfect fit to the pen collection. This one has a dual tone steel nib, and I got it in Extra Fine. I decided to use one of the new Amarillo Stationery inks called Needs More Sun to fill it with, as it is a really great color match to the pen material.
