I am currently slated to be working in the Vanness Pen Lounge for the 2026 DC Pen Show. I am not certain if there will be specific times, so stay tuned for details, but please come and say hello if you will be at the show.
I will be a presenter at the On The Paper Trail Nashville Event on October 16-18 2026. This will be the first event that the minds behind the On The Paper Trail podcast, Lisa Vanness of Vanness Pens and Joe Crace of The Gentleman Stationer, will be hosting. This is going to be more of the community aspects of current pen shows opposed to primary focus of shopping. There will be items for sale at the event as well as local makers and creators, but the main theme will be classes and the opportunity to hang out and use all of the fun things that make this hobby great.

I visited Cincinnati to pickup some machines from Richard Polt, and attended the typewriter swap meet at WordPlay Cincy. You can see the video I made about this trip here.

2026 Arkansas Pen Show
A this show, I hosted a livestream where I sat down with some of the vendors to let them talk about their experience as well as what they brought with them to the show. We did this on Friday as a preview for the Saturday and Sunday of the show.
I also ran one of the roundtables on Saturday evening. This was my first time presenting, and the topic was Next Level Analog: Typewriters. I brought 5 machines and talked through how I have added typewriters into my stationery usage, and let the attendees type on all of the machines during the various iterations of the round table rotation. It was a fun event that I hope to be able to do again in the future.
