When I first got into typewriters, I saw a photo of an Underwood on the field case, and it was at the top of my list to find at some point, and I finally was able to bring one home that was not overpriced. This is a 1939 model, and the field case is in overall great condition. I did have to straighten some bent legs so it will close properly and replace the straightened out bobby pin that was a hinge pin with something proper, but this will now be a machine I can take with me and not have to worry about finding a table for it to sit on. Pair with a small folding stool, and I have a full remote writing setup.
