Welcome to dwrd.net, the online home for Derek DeWeese and the dwrdnet Youtube channel. I have been in the stationery hobby in terms of fountain pens since the end of 2013, but I decided to take it to the next level after doing the end of 2024 Inkvent calendars from both Colorverse and Diamine, and that is when the Youtube channel came to be.
I put out a video a while back about how I really got started in the fountain pen world, so I take a look and see if you have a similar getting started story.
I am based just south of Nashville, TN, and I am lucky to have some great local stationery stores, but I also do my best to visit different stores when I am able, and if possible, film a store walkthrough or tour.
My wife started out as someone who wasn’t into pens, and now she has her own collection of pens, inks and journals, so it is a great hobby that we are able to share together.
