Well I wake up this afternoon to find an email that I am now going home a day earlier than I was really scheduled for originally, so I get to go home on Sunday. I am kind of torn as I would have preferred to have the extra money to spend at Dragon*Con, but it will be nice to get back home. I need to get my Lostume finished and start digging all of the other costumes out of the bins in order to start packing for the con. The other thing that I am kind of peeved about is that fact that I have not had a chance to get out and take any pictures this go round yet, so I am going to have to try to make it somewhere on Friday when I have the day off. I am thinking of driving to Santa Fe to see what I can find there, but I am not 100 percent sure yet.
For any of you who have been to Albuquerque or Santa Fe, any suggestions of where to go?

Yesterday I finally got a chance to ride the Sandia Tramway up to Sandia Peak. I had some green chili stew at the restaurant, and enjoyed the view.

I made it over to the Albuquerque zoo today to take some pictures. I really needed a lens with more zoom, but I made do with what I had. Here are a couple of samples and a link to the gallery.

Today I decided that I would forego a full day of sleep, and actually go out and see some of Albuquerque. I went to the aquarium and botanical gardens to take some pictures. It was nice and cool as a storm was moving in, and I spent about 2 hours there between both places.
