This last weekend I headed up to Indianapolis to go to the Naptown Roller Girls Scar Wars bout. One of the photographers at the derby let me use their backdrop for a few shots, and I really appreciated that. I guess that goes to show that people who share an interest such as photography are willing to help out people they have never met before.
This was also one of my first opportunities to shoot with my new Canon 7D body, and I was very pleased. The ability to shoot at higher ISO really made a difference in the indoor derby setting. It was a great weekend, and here are a couple of sample shots.
