Well this has been quite a weekend. Lets start with Friday.
On Friday I had planned on remaking my minigun and having it ready for the Hallowine party on Friday night, but when I went to my car, it wasn’t in there. I looked everywhere that I thought it could be, called the fairgrounds, with no luck. I eventually call some of those who had been at Horrorfest the previous weekend to see if anyone had any idea where it was. Eventually, I found out that someone had picked it up, and had it, but hadn’t told me. Long story short, couldn’t repair it for the party.
Friday night, I went to Petro’s Hallowine party. It was like a school reunion as I saw people who I hadn’t seen literally in years. I wore my mando and everyone loved it. It is pretty funny to see a mandalorian drinking champagne out of a straw going up the front of his helmet.

On Saturday morning, after waking up a tad late due to champagne’s influence, I headed down to Franklin for Pumpkinfest. I wore Plo Koon for the occasion, and had a good time. There were tons of people milling about, and we had a good turnout of folks who were trooping. I was there for about 4 hours and then headed home to do my emperor makeup for the zoo.

I got to the zoo about 6:30 and we trooped it until it was over around 9. It has been fun trooping the zoo the last couple of weeks. I drove my car over to where everyone was getting unsuited and waited for us to be ready to leave. When we were ready to roll, my car would not start. In the small amount of time between me getting over there, and when it was time to go, apparently my alternator and battery decided to rebel. Long story short, we jumped my car, and I couldn’t take my foot of the gas or the car would die. I drove with a foot on either petal out of the zoo, and across the street to the Aldi where my car is currently sitting. Loki gave me a ride home, and on Monday, Tech is going to help me change the alternator out, so that I can have my car back. Good times there, let me tell you.
As for right now, I will be walking to and from work today, and loving every minute of it. I guess that it does work out well that since my new schedule starts on Monday, I will have the day off to be able to fix my car. It is kind of odd that last week, 3 people had car trouble while trooping, and then my car rebelled this week. I think someone is trying to stop the trooping with sabotage. Well probably not, but it sounds cool to have some sort of conspiracy to go with all of the car troubles.
