An important day in history

Today is a very important day in history. It is the day that MacGyver first came out on DVD. I went and picked up the first season today and have started to watch the first disk. so far I have learned how to turn a flare gun into a rocket, how to make a simple bomb, how to use a paper clip as a wire to stop a missle from launching and numerous other things that will make me a more productive member of society. I figure that now that I have all of these skills, I can train to become a cage fighter.

One thing that I didn’t really remember from watching MacGyver on TV is that each episode is really 2 episodes in one. There is a short 7 or so minute mini episode at the beginning of each actual episode. I like this in that it keeps your interest up. Well I guess that I should get back to watching Season 1.

Mysteries

I love mysteries. I really love the type of things dissappearing and a very mimited number of people who had access to such things and they go away. The worst part about this type of mystery is that when the parties are questioned and no guilt admitted, you are left unable to solve the mystery.

A day off well spent

Well today I took the day off from work, and I have to say that I think that it was a day well spent. I Had a greek alumni reunion this morning at Belmont, where all people who had been greek came back to see what was going on. It was good to see some brothers who I haven’t seen in a while. After that, I just went home and chilled for most of the afternoon and watched some tv. Tonight we headed out to Jillians to play some games and have some drinks. It was a nice chance to relax. Now I am sitting with Danielle and Kim and watching Napolean Dynamite. Danielle hasn’t seen it, and it is funny watching someone watch a funny movie. Very entertaining.

A Perfect Storm

Well I finally bought another copy of Perfect Storm. I don’t know what happened to my original copy, but I really like this movie. I also bought Road to Perdition which is another pretty good movie. I haven’t started another book yet, but I have the Night Fall book that I will probably start tomorrow. The big thing on my list for tomorrow is to clean up the condo. It sometimes gets to a point where I just have to do something about it, and it has reached that point. Laundry and stuff like that sucks to have to do, but it is a necessary evil.

I realized with LJ being down, that I read many people’s journals on a daily basis, and when they were not there, I didn’t have much else to read on a daily basis. Any suggestions of sites to add to the list of daily reads?
